The European BioClim Wetlands Conference aims to promote networking and exchange of experience between stakeholders from science, policy and practice in Europe. The thematic focus is on the conservation and restoration of riverine and coastal wetlands in Europe and their role in ecosystems and maximising climate services. The policy framework and its opportunities for expansion will also be discussed, and recommendations for action will be developed to raise awareness of the importance of the issue.
